In advance of my launching my new book 'Quenching Drumlish's Thirst' in August about the history of the village pubs of Drumlish, here are some new memories we discovered over the weekend.
My mother recently passed away joining my late Dad on their next journey. Dad, Jim, was from outside Drumlish in County Longford and as we were going through their personal items, I discovered that they had attended the unveiling on the Land War memorial in Drumlish in 1981 and took photographs. These is those memories and hopefully some locals can identify family or friends.
